So, my friends, this is a rather awesome outfit that I wore today. Why is it awesome? Well, just because the skirt and shirt combined cost $2.50. No big deal.

So, yesterday was my birthday and it was quite stupendous. I got a super awesome new camera so now I can take some pro photoshoots. well... not really but I'll try. And now I have some money which... I'm thinking some new clothes? I also had some divine birthday cake, it was so good, I could live off of that stuff. welp, that's basically it. I just felt like I should post that since I haven't posted in forever. Goodbye

Harry Potter 7

So, since we are a crew of nerds, Me, Markee, and our little sisters went and saw the last Harry Potter at midnight. and since we are super cool we dressed up. Markee and I dressed up as Luna, and our sisters dressed up as Moaning Myrtle. Here are some pictures.

My birthday!

On July 14 I turned 17! My best friend Brittany Hanks took me to DI the day before and I bought some cute clothes. Sorry for the tilt. My sister Marin took some pictures. On my birthday I had red velvet cake (yummy. :)) I got my favorite perfume (Tejila from Maurices), a DVD player, i tunes card, Harry Potter tickets for midnight. All from family. Later Tamsyn and Megyn gave me two cute shirts from and an owl necklace Maurices. After that we all (Tamsyn, me, Marin, and Megyn) went to Harry Potter 7 part 2 at midnight (very good by the way!) Tamsyn and I dressed as Luna Lovegood and Marin and Megyn dressed up as Moaning Murtle.

thrift refashion, number two

Alrighty, here is my second summer refashion. I didn't get a before picture, deeply sorry about that.... let me just describe it to you: it looked like the following pictures, but a couple inches longer. It was just at an awkward length so I decided to hem it a bit. I got it because it looks vintage and it's floral. The end. (oh, and it was only like... 3 dollars)

And I know, this outfit is like pattern mania. Polkadots, stripes, and flowers. But I kind of like it. And I love the blue belt, it used to be my great-grandma's :)

4th of July (I'm a slacker)

So, since I am the biggest procrastinator in the world, here are my most recent independence day designs.

 The first is a striped dress that says "I'm Free" in cursive on the top. Then a blue tailcoat type thing with gold buttons and an uncle sam hat (whatever those are called) and buckled shoes. Oh, and I almost forgot, some nifty fingerless gloves.

The second is a bit more simple. White cropped pants, a red ruffled top, and blue suspenders. and some other things... yeah.

So....I hope you all had a fantastic independence day, because I did :)
