Happy Thanksgiving!
This year for Thanksgiving our family all came to our house for dinner.
We had turkey, stuffing, rolls, MASHED POTATOES, gravy, carrots, SPARKLING CIDER, pickles, olives, and pie! Needless to say I now feel like I'm going to explode.
I'm thankful for many things but I have to say that most of all I am thankful for my family and that we all live so close to each other.
What are you most thankful for?

I have now bought my tickets for the opening night of the second installment of the Hobbit!
I'm quite excited. I'm also going to see Frozen and Catching Fire.
Speaking of the Hobbit out of the 14 members of the Company of Thorin who is your favorite?

I'm back!
Sorry for neglecting you for so long. I have been busy and honestly I kind of forgot I even owned a blog. I just want you all to know that I have finally cast off the lazy cap and have applied and been accepted into Weber State University! Whoo!
WSU where I will be studying anthropology. I love history, but not when I'm learning events or stuff like that. I like learning about the people and how they lived. It has always interested me.
I also found out my mother majored in anthropology in college so it's kind of in the family.
Another thing that I've been doing, besides working and goofing off that is, NaNoWriMo aka national novel writing month. It's this great program over the great internet (nanowrimo.org) where you actually write a novel in a month. Now I know what you're thinking 50,000 words in a month that is crazy. well that may be true and that means I'm super crazy because this will make it my 3rd time doing this insane challenge.
The first time I did it I was in my senior year of high school and it was required for my creative writing class. I love it so much I decided to do it every November. I love writing and I pretty much always have a story in my mind and this gives me the opportunity to write it all down.
So enough about that and I just have one last thing to say. I just can't wait for Catching fire and Hobbit 2. Okay mostly the Hobbit part. The LOTR trilogy is probably my favorite and I'm soooo happy that Peter Jackson decided to continue making movies of the stories of Middle-Earth. He is truly a brilliant man. Talking about Middle-Earth I have a question; why is there no Middle-Earth amusement park? I mean there is Disneyland, Harry potter world or whatever, legoland, universal studios, etc etc etc. Seriously someone needs to get on top of that because it is needed.
If you lived in Middle-Earth what would you be?
For me I would probably either want to be a wizard like Gandalf or an elf like Legolas.
I want to know what you would want to be so don't be afraid to answer.

Walmart fashion
Oh hey. It's been a loooooong time. Let's just forget about that before I have to make up a dumb excuse for being absent from this little bloggie for months and move on to what I would like to talk about today.
This summer I worked at Walmart in the apparel section for a between-semesters job. I spent many long hours folding clothes, straightening hangers, picking stuff up from the REALLY dusty floor, putting back returned clothing, and doing other such tedious activities. Now that I don't work there anymore I don't feel like a traitor or undercover fashion cop or whatever sharing some of the horrid articles of clothing I had to acquaint myself with. The most terrible of these were found on the men's graphic tee wall. Here is a sample:
Others: "Don't laugh it's your girlfriend's shirt" "Ladies love me" "SWAG SWAG SWAG SWAG" "I'm right 97% of the time Who cares about the other 4%"
I just want to burn them. Burn them all.
And the boy's section was almost as bad:
So I don't have anything against graphic t-shirts. I just like them when they are clever and/or witty and/or cool. Not obnoxious, overused, and completely un-funny. Like I think all of the above are. I could go on, but I am getting a little too irked right now. SO I will stop.
Wait, one more. Whilst I was browsing for pictures, I found this shirt on Walmart.com. I never saw this in the store but it takes the cake. The loser cake I mean.
Something that both misuses the word "epic" and features the word "swag" deserves to be obliterated from the face of this planet. Seriously though.
WHY?
So besides having to make those completely irritating articles of clothing look nice and attractive to buyers... my job wasn't that bad.
P.S. There are also plenty of lovely clothes at Walmart and I'm not saying you shouldn't shop there. I'm just revealing my personal preferences in graphic clothing. If you don't agree, that's totally cool with me!
Okay, tata. Perhaps I'll be back soon. Perhaps not. It's a mystery. But those are the best right?
