Australia Day!

In honor of Australia Day.... which I know most Americans don't celebrate, but I do because Australia seems like a really awesome place. And I want to visit someday. And not just because of terrific Australian accents. So, here is my outfit for Australia Day. And please excuse the bad coloring. This isn't one of my best designs, but... whatever.

Converse outfit

My inspiration was, as you can guess, converse shoes.

Miltary flower

Markee- This design is called military flower. I drew it while me, Tamsyn, and other cousins were watching "Barbie in a Fashion Fairytale."

Random Inspirations

I have a few designs that are inspired from random things. For this one my inspiration was... guess.... yes a clock. Designs like these are fun to do because you can be really creative and design anything you want.
Here is another one. My inspiration was a notebook. Maybe I'll post a few more of these later.

Trip to OLD NAVY

So, today we went to Old Navy because we both had gift cards to spend there. Yay! Free clothes! One of the reasons we like Old Navy is they pretty much always have stuff on sale. Like today we both got corduroy skirts for about... 3 dollars. Apparently nobody appreciates corduroy :). And also Tamsyn finally got some nifty colored tights. HOORAY! Oh, and we also both got extra large sweaters! So on cold days we can drink hot cocoa with our oversive comfy sweaters. And that is pretty much all!

Movie Character Fashion

The character Penelope in the movie "Penelope" has a very quaint style. On the cover for example, I love her blue polkadot tights and really nifty blue dress suit. One of the reasons we love this movie is just to see all of her awesome belongings. Not only are her clothes really cool for never being in the outside world, her house is super awesome. I mean... she has a swing... in her room! If you so desire, you should watch this movie because we both love it. :)

Bohemian

I (Markee) did this one. It was my most loved out of my whole sketchbook. My dad helped me with the name.

Vintage Prom Dress

This is a design I (Tamsyn) drew. My inspiration was winter. The background was done on good old paint! (yes I am a pro on paint...ish)

A little welcome!

HELLO EVERYONE!
We are very excited about our new blog! WOOT!
I guess we will start with a little introduction to ourselves-the designers of this magnificent blog!
My name is Tamsyn. I obviously love fashion design and that is how I occupy my time when I am bored. I've always liked clothes and mixing and matching things and then I discovered this cool kit thing for fashion design and I have been designing ever since! I hope to get better at sewing so that maybe one day I can make my own clothes and if I'm lucky start a fashion line. I also enjoy reading, writing, dance, movies, games and spending time with friends and family.
They call me Markee. I got interested in fashion design when my cousin Tamsyn showed me her awesome fashion designing kit, but as she kept designing I went down a different path for a while and became a hip-hop dancer first. In my tenth grade year another friend reignited my passion for fashion (haha)! Now I'm Tamsyn's "assistant" designer and I love every bit of it!
Hopefully you will enjoy this blog. Feel free to comment if you have any suggestions or requests!
