Pretty in Pink

You should probably know that Pretty in Pink in one of my favorite movies. I recommend it. It is an 80's movie and is very good. Plus if you enjoy different and unique styles like me, you will absolutely LOVE the costume design is the movie. I will post details on the movie at the bottom.
One thing that I love in the movie is that the main character wears mismatching earrings like one that dangles and one that is a stud. which I now do all the time.
You can't really tell but she is. Just trust me on this guys.

She is also not afraid to be herself and not do what she is not supposed do even if it is the cool thing to do. Something that is not very common in today's world.

Its a little over an hour and a half, pg-13 (its just one of those 80's movies swearing mostly. Says the F word once)
Actors:
Molly Ringwald- Andie Walsh
Harry Dean Stanton- Jack Walsh
Jon Cryer- Duckie
Annie Potts- Iona
James Spader- Steff
Andrew McCarthy- Blane

Genre:Comedy, Drama, Romance

Storyline:
Teenager Andie is one of the not-so-popular girls in high school. She usually hangs out with her friends Iona or Duckie. Duckie has always had a crush on her, but now she has met a new guy at school, Blane. He's one of the rich and popular guys but can the two worlds meet?
It is all centered around prom and shows the painful effects of peer pressure.

If you care: It was written by John Hughes(Ferris Bueller's Day Off) Directed by Howard Deutch.

My favorite quote(s):
"I'm off like a dirty shirt." - Duckie
"If somebody doesn't believe in me, I can't believe in them."- Andie
[as he is leaving Andie's room with a juice box in hand] "Drinking and driving don't mix.
That's why I ride a bike." -Duckie

If your still reading and if you can't tell, my favorite character is by far Duckie.
